Leon Tikly, EdQual Programme Director, convened a Thematic Group at the XIV World Congress World Council of Comparative Education Societies (WCCES), 14-18 June 2010.
EdQual hosted a symposium on Tuesday 15th June where representatives Leon Tikly; Angeline M. Barrett & Michael Crossley and Rita Chawla-Duggan presented on changing discourses in the South African Eductaional system (375.5 kB).
Professor Leon Tikly also presented two other papers in separate sessions which both concerned education policy in South Africa.
The conference theme was "Bordering, Re-bordering and New Possibilities in Education and Society" and the thematic group focused on Re-Imagining Curriculum.
